Welcome to the Dala Domain Management guide! This guide will walk you through how to find, purchase, and manage your custom web domains.
Searching for a Domain
- Access the Domain Page: Navigate to the “Domains” section from your dashboard.
- Enter Your Desired Name: Use the search bar to type in the domain name you want (e.g., mybrand.com).
- Check Availability: Click the “Search” button. The platform will instantly tell you if the domain is available for registration.
- Choose Your Duration: Select how many years you would like to register the domain for (1 to 10 years).
Purchasing Your Domain
- Select Currency: You can view the price in your local currency (ETB, KES, NGN, etc.) or USD.
- Choose Payment Method: We support various payment gateways:
- FlutterWave: Ideal for localized payments across Africa (Visa, Mastercard, Mobile Money).
- M-Pesa: For quick mobile wallet payments.
- Stripe/Chapa: For international and local card payments.
- Complete Registration: Follow the prompts from the payment provider. Once the payment is successful, your domain will be automatically registered!
Managing Your Domains
- View My Domains: Your registered domains will appear in the “My Domains” list.
- Status Tracking: You can see if your domain is active or pending setup.
- Renewals: You can return to the domain page to extend your registration at any time.
